A pair of Chinese Export Regency style painted plaster figures

each with a nodding head, re-decorated and losses

Very decorative. Each painted head is in good condition, it is likely that these figures have been extensively re-decorated. This later painted surface is unstable in places as there is lifting, losses and the white plaster is visible. There is on one a notable break at the back of the figure`s collar. There is a large repaired break to the rear left corner. On the other figure there is a repair to the sleeve and his left arm proper. These figures would have originally held a staff or similar. The base of one figure has a large diagonal crack which will need attention.
