restorations and damage, together with an associated Chinese carved huang-huali stand
Condition
The vase with extensive restoration in the form of glued and stapled cracks, with overpainting and filled composite at these sites. There are in places losses to enamel evidenced notably around the birds beak and body. Loose wedged-shaped section to rim. Decorative. It is likely that the lid is associated.
The stand is of nice quality. There are scratches to the mitred top and a loss of moulding to one corner.
