Description

  • Wood
each back applied with a black and gilt gesso painted neo-classical scene (6)

Condition

In overall good condition. This is a very chic set of chairs, the neo-classical medallions to each are lifting in places with some losses and some old repairs. Generally sturdy. Some old fractures to uprights. Rubbing to carved busts on each front leg and rubbing to each paw feet. Evidence of old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active.
