- Mahogany and verre eglomise
- 77cm. high, 97cm. diameter; 2ft. 3½in., 3ft. 2¼in.
the top with painted figures of French Kings and their consorts, including Louis XII, Francis I, Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, the stretcher inset with a later but conforming roundel
Condition
Very decorative. There is retouching to each painted reserve on the top. There is lifting to the moulded mahogany rim. There is lfting to the veneers on the carcase. The circular verre egolmisé roundel centering the stretcher is later but a good match.
