Condition

The canvas is lined. The paint surface is in good condition, if a little dirty, but the colours are well-preserved. There are some discoloured retouchings to the hairline and the background. There is an old restored damage to the sitter's sleeve but there are no major 'new' damages apparent. Offered in an ornate gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition. Ready to hang.
