Condition
Overall this work is in good condition.
Oil on cradled panel. Under ultraviolet light there appears to be some minimal old retouching, notably to an 8cm horizontal retouched crack near the right edge in the sky, and some scattered spots in the upper left of the sky. There is some surface dirt and the varnish has discoloured slightly.
The sky is more detailed, less yellow and more blue than in the catalogue illustration.
Held in a decorative gold-painted frame.
