Description
- Mahogany, brass, leather and oak
- 151cm. high, 96cm. wide, 40.5cm. deep; 4ft. 11½in., 3ft. 1¾in., 1ft. 3¾in.
the fall opening to reveal an inset leather writing surface and a fitted interior, distressed
Condition
There is a large age crack to the center of the rectangular top, the ebonised decoration around the brass inlaid diamond pattern motifs and to the fitted interior has been rubbed off, the lock of the top drawer has been replaced, there are construction cracks to the inside of the drop front, the wood around the right hinge has been cracked and there is a large crack, old marks, stains, scratches and small cracks throughout consistent with age and use.
