Description
- Giltwood
- 138cm. high, 161cm. wide; 4ft. 6¼in., 5ft. 3½in.
with a divided arched plate
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. The mirror is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There are some construction cracks commensurate with age but these can be left. There are some mirror losses to the carving eg to the left side on the top of an acanthus scoll. There is an old minor repair to the border of the cartouch on the left which would benefit from some minor attention and some minor restorations generally. The plate has slipped leaving a gap on the right and left of the central plate and there are some very minor breaks to the glass eg top and bottom left side which are hardly noticeable.
