- Gilt-wood and mirror glass
- 175cm. high; 88cm. wide; 5ft. 8¾in., 2ft. 10¾in.
with a later arched plate
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. The carved sections are dirty and would benefit from a clean according to taste. There are some minor hairline cracks especially to the border of the frame eg there is one at the top below the cresting and some hairline construction cracks at the joints which can be left. There are some old very minor restorations and chips to the carving which have been well executed and are hardly noticeable. There is an approx 4cm long section of acanthus leaf chipped off the middle right side which can easily be restored.
