Haarlem School, 17th Century

The flat, stable support consists of two vertical panels, supported at the reverse by four dovetails along the panel join. The panel join is visible on the paint surface, which is in good condition, though the wood's grain is visible in the sky and foreground of the painting where the paint is a little thin. The paint surface is otherwise in good condition. Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition, with a few minor knocks.
