Condition
The weave of the unlined, machine-prepared canvas can be made out on the paint surface, which is in good condition, though flat.
There are some knocks and losses along the lower margin of the painting, as visible in the catalogue illustration and an uneven area of craquelure at the centre of the upper margin.
Offered in an ornate gilt wood and plaster frame with a few minor knocks.
