The inscription reads: ‘Presented to DAVID ROBERTSON ESQre. By the Members of the Burstow Hunt as a Testimonial of the high esteem in which they hold his conduct as a SPORTSMAN. 1836.’

Condition

Condition good (but lid doesn’t quite close completely at front right corner – hinge needs very slight adjustment), marks good, nice weight.
