Acquired from Caves, Northampton, 1 March 1971, 'Walnut and gesso mirror', according to Frederick McCarthy's stock books.

Condition

A pretty mirror that has undergone workshop attention. The walnut has been re-polished. The gilt-gesso with redecoration and some losses.
