- Bust of Jeanne Bécu, comtesse du Barry (1743-1793)
- terracotta, on a pink veined marble socle and an ebonized wood base

Condition
There is restoration to the back of her left shoulder and to the locks of hair at the back. There may have been restorations to the neck. There is a small area of white paint above her right eyebrow and some stable hairline fissures to her right breast. The bust has been attached to the marble socle at a later date and a plaster section has been added between the bust and the socle. There is some wear to the surface and perhaps some retouching to the surface.
