Condition

These decorative tables are highly functional and can be used as a pair of console tables or a centre table. The great age of these tables is demonstrated through old marks, scratches and with traces of filler and some later inserts of timber to areas where there has been damage or wear. There are some isolated areas of discolouration possible from liquid. The right moulded edge of one with recent chip (approx. 2.5cm.). The attractively turned legs with some replaced elements, notably the block components, these have been well done. Two stretchers are replaced and two with spliced sections of later timber. All of this remedial work is of good quality, has been well done and is of a brilliant colour match so is hard to discern. Each foot re-tipped.
