Condition

This table has a lovely rich honey colour with a good natural finish built up from polish. The top displays evidence from this being a working table with some of the kind of ring marks one would expect. There are some surface marks, depressions and scratches to the finish. Theplank contsuction of the top means that there is some separation between these planks. One of the gate legs has a very ancient split to a baluster upright. This does nolt detract. Each gate leg may have an upper section of timber brace (not visible) that has been sensitively replaced, however it would be fair to say this is in no way definte as the wood is a perfect match and would not have been exposed to excessive wear. There a chips to each foot. A table that is a great colour, has a nice substantial feel about it and is a practical object.
