- lidded vase 5.5cm. high, 6in.
comprising two 'famille-rose' jugs, one with lid, a small famille-rose baluster vase with lid, two tea-bowls and plates, a teacup and plate, two further tea-bowls, a 'famille rose' bowl, a lidded warming plate, a grisaille painted spoon tray and a 'famille-rose' shallow tray both of lobed form, two Canton enamel desk accessories and a Canton enamel snuff box together with a carved agate snuff bottle and a glass snuff bottle with decorated interior (qty)
Condition
A decorative group of property some items possibly with associated lids and saucers;
Jugs: typical losses to painted decoration and rubbing to gilding.
Lidded vase: rubbing to gilding. rim chips.
Tea bowls and saucers: wear to painted decoration. One with hairline crack and minor rim chip.
Tea cup and saucer: rubbing to decoration and chips.
bowls: larger with hairline crack
Warming plate with lid: Rubbing and losses to gilding. Plate with crack running around rim, visible when plate is viewed underneath.
Small lobed trays: Fair and one with crude glued repair.
Enamelled objects: Tidy although some decoration faded, typical crazing and chips to enamel underneath each.
Snuff bottles: Glass example with damaged stopper. Agate example with lid stuck tight in place.
