- Mahogany, boxwood, elephant ivory, pine and glass, porcelain and papier maché
- 45.5cm. high, 21.5cm. wide, 16cm. deep; 1ft. 5¾in., 8½in., 6¼in.
together with a collection of miniature or 'Dolls House' porcelain, earthenware and papier- maché
Provenance
The miniature or Dolls House' porcelain probably acquired from H. Jones, 24 March 1973, as 'B & W Childs Tea Service', according to Frederick McCarthy's stock books.
Condition
A very charming group. The bureau in excellent condition, slightly sun faded to one side . The porcelain in good order although there some incomplete sets and chips, missing lids etc. The papier maché group is possibly Eastern European and has some breaks, old marks and scratches.
