- Saupoudroir en argent par Jacques Filassier, Paris, 1719-1720
- Haut. 24,5 cm, 557 g ; 9 1/2 in, 17oz 18dwt
reposant sur un piédouche ciselé et gravé d'une frise de rubans fleuris sur fond amati, le corps appliqué d'une frise de feuilles de laurier amatis dans un entourage d'oiseaux, bouquets et rinceaux, gravé d'armoiries d'alliance timbrées d'une couronne de comte, le couvercle à baïonnette à bord godronné, ajouré de quartefeuilles dans des cercles, la prise en pomme de pin, gravé sous le pied du poids 2m 2o 2d (étiquette PJB 19)
Literature
Un saupoudroir de forme très similaire par Jacques Filassier et de la même année est illustré dans Henri Nocq, le Poinçon de Paris, Léonce Laget, vol II, p. 173. Il faisait alors partie de la collection Puiforcat.
Condition
In overall good condition.
Marks: on foot rim maker partly legible, on neck discharge very legible ; on cover attachs: maker and discharge very legible ; inside cover charge, maker and jurande very legible.
Good weight, very nice pattern.
