Condition
a split and some further repair at the junction of knop and cup, otherwise very charming and rare cup.
Maker's mark stamped twice and town mark, all legible under the base.

Cette typologie de pièce très étonnante est caractéristique de la juridiction d'Avignon. Une autre coupe au poinçon de l'Isle sur la Sorgue (Ader, 25 mars 1985, n° 109) et deux exemplaires d'Avignon sont répertoriés (une, Ader 10 mars 1990, n° 174 et une par Jean-Joseph Manuel), enfin une autre de Jean-Claude Raymond a figuré à la vente Ader, 25 mai 1985, n° 124.
