Le premier chant de Schubert à être imprimé. Cette édition est de plus extrêmement rare ; très peu d'exemplaires de cette édition de poche sont connus.
"Am Erlafsee" est écrit en septembre 1817, sur un poème de Johann Mayrhofer. Les Allemands considèrent que ce chant de Schubert est le premier de tous ses ouvrages à être publié: il est annoncé le 24 janvier 1818.
The first Schubert song to appear in print. This edition is furthermore of great rarity: only a handful of copies of this pocket-book are known.
The song was written in September 1817, and sets a poem by Johann Mayrhofer. Deutsch observes that this edition of Schubert's song was the earliest printing of any of his works: it was advertised on 24 January 1818.
