Catalogue Note

Rare.

Rare.
Scarlatti's sonatas are among the most celebrated keyboard works of the eighteenth century. Possibly not in first edition here is K.125, which may have been published first by Vernadez et al (Paris, 1754/5). We have not traced any auction record for this edition. Only 8 copies are listed by RISM.
