Nous n'avons pas retrouvé de trace de Pigmalion en vente aux enchères ; le présent exemplaire peut être concidéré comme une des premières éditions car ses impressions ne sont pas aussi profondes et nettes que l'exemplaire du lot 270 (q.v. : cet exemplaire plus tardif contient une page de titre imprimée et non gravée comme dans le présent volume). 

We have traced no record of Pigmalion at auction; the present copy is possibly to be ajudged an early issue, on account of the fact that its impressions are not as deep and clean as those of the copy in lot 270 (q.v.: this latter copy also contains a printed title-page, not engraved as here).
