Ce recueil contient la première édition du madrigal en cinq parties de Palestrina 'Ogni loco mi porge doglia e pianto'. La partie du quintus (manquante dans cet ouvrage) est la seule enregistrée en France. Ce recueil inclut aussi la première édition de 'Invidioso amor' d'Alessandro Striggio (v.1536/37-1592), 'Madonna, s'io v'amai' de Willaert (v.1490-1562), et de madrigaux par Costanzo Porta (1528/29-1601), Vincenzo Ruffo (v.1508-1587), Giovanni Nasco, Pietro Taglia, Francesco Rosselli et d'autres auteurs.
This collection contains the first edition of Palestrina's five-part madrigal 'Ogni loco mi porge doglia e pianto'. Only the quintus part (missing here) is present in any library in France.
