Catalogue Note
Editions of C.P.E. Bach's 3 Sonatinas survive in only a handful of copies outside Austria. The "Sei Sonate" Wq.51 were composed in 1758-1760 and published as the Fortsetzung von Sechs Sonaten fürs Clavier (Berlin, 1761). Binder was a Dresden-born musician. This is the only surviving copy of his sonatas for flute and keyboard.
