Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue, although the overall tonality is brighter in the original. Few minor dark scattered stains due to the artist process are visible under close inspection. A minor tear (approximately 1 cm), likely due to a previous hanging with pin is located on the upper right corner. This work is in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note

(Claude Viallat, in 60-72, Douze Ans d'art contemporain en France, Paris, 1972, p.371)
