the tapering body surmounted by a short waisted neck with a lipped rim, covered in a rich lavender-blue glaze coagulating unevenly above the foot, accented with mottled deep reddish-purple splashes

Condition

The lipped rim extensively restored and possibly re-built. A consolidated firing crack across the foot. Old chips to foot ring. The glaze of a deeper, glossier blue with more pronounced purple splashes than as seen in catalogue image.
