the compressed globular body surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck flanked by tubular handles, applied with a clambering chilong grasping a sprig of bamboo, the rim and shoulder incised with keyfret bands, impressed to the base with a seal mark reading Tongjiang, wood stand; together with a Dehua ‘chilong’ mallet vase, wood stand

Condition
The arrow vase: two faint firing cracks to the body of the chilong. Otherwise in good condition, some coarse sand adhered to base and foot.
The mallet vase: In very good condition.
