the lower bulb painted with a figure holding a buffalo by its reigns, kneeling before a standing dignitary accompanied by a troop of attendants and his chariot behind, all set against a garden landscape, below a band of floral scrolls, the upper section with a reclining scholar and his acolytes amid a terraced garden, all below a wide band of stylised tulip sprays around the waisted neck

Condition

2mm glaze flake to rim; some slight discolouration to glaze on lower body; minor glaze inclusions and imperfections; otherwise in good general condition.
