painted to the exterior with a couple standing by the altar looking at an armoured figure riding on scrolling clouds aiming his sword towards two demons, all set amidst a rocky landscape, encircled at the rim with a band of foaming waves, the domed cover with a sage and his acolyte seated by the river banks

Condition
A partially consolidated rim crack, extending approximately 30mm to the interior, only approximately 23mm visible to exterior. Two areas of greenish discolouration to the glaze, the largest (visible in catalogue image) to the clouds above demons and a small aread to the right of rockwork in centre of image (8mm by 3mm).
The cover in good general cnodition, with some fritting and glaze flakes to rim.
Minor firing imperfections to both.
