Purchased in Hong Kong, 24th December 1975 (luohan).
Purchased in Hong Kong, 19th December 1975 (guanyin).

Exhibited

Chinese Ceramics of the Transitional Period (circa 1620-1680 A.D.) from the Collection of Mr & Mrs Peter Thompson, Hull University, Hull, 1985, cat. nos 64-67.

Condition

Both figures in good condition; the luohan with the collection number 9314 inscribed in pink to the base. Both vessels in good condition. The vase with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark inscised to base.
