the deep rounded sides, decorated around the exterior with a red and a green five-clawed dragon striding among floral scrolls reaching for 'flaming pearls', separated by two multi-coloured phoenix swooping down toward the foot, all below a band of ruyi interspersed with the bajixiang at the rim, the interior centred with a red dragon writhing among green flames, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The surface glaze as somewhat a little misfired with an 'orange peel' effect. There are a few impurities in the glaze at the rim, but otherwise the bowl is in very good condition.
