each painted with two five-clawed dragons striding in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl' on the exterior, reserved in green enamel against a white incised ground of turbulent waves and rocks, the interior decorated in shades of iron-red with five hovering bats, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

Both dishes are in very good condition. The enamels are all very well preserved. There is a minute burst air bubble on the head of one of the dragons.
