modelled in the form of a stylised scroll with straight sides and undulating ends, carved and undercut in shallow relief with three chilong writhing among swirling clouds, the reverse incised in seal script with an excerpt from a Tang dynasty poem, followed by a square seal, the zitan stand of conforming shape carved on all sides with archaistic angular scrolls and detailed with two kui dragon flanking a simplified shou character on the main sides

Condition
The wristrest is in very good condition with the exception of two tiny nicks to the edges near one corner on the reverse, another two small near the bottom edge.
