Description

carved with Shoulao and an attendant standing under a gnarled pine tree in a mountainous landscape, surrounded by craggy rockwork and swirled clouds collaring the top of the pebble, a staircase leading to a pavilion in the distance, the reverse with a crane standing in a cave under a gnarled branch bearing clusters of pine needles, the smoothly polished stone of a greenish-white colour with milky inclusions and patches of brown skin, wood stand

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only some minor occasional nibbles. The actual colour is slightly more tinged with celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
