skilfully carved in the round from a bamboo root, the bearded immortal seated on craggy rockwork floriated with lingzhi, with a broad smile and squinty eyes, his hair tied up in a bun, dressed in a long flowing robe cascading in loose folds over his bare feet and knees, clutching a large peach in his left hand while pointing two fingers of his right hand towards it, the bamboo richly patinated to a warm reddish-brown colour

There are a few minor chips, including one to the left side of his headpiece, and one near the ribbon tied under his belly. There is also an old dent on top of his head. The overall condition is otherwise quite good, except for some typical age cracks.
