Description

the light wrinkled wood carved and pierced in the form of a naturalistic furled lotus leaf, the interior inscribed with seven pertinent poems about the lotus carved in different calligraphic styles and variously signed with studio seals, the underside realistically rendered with lotus veins, organic tears and holes, the smooth varnished surface with a warm golden brown tone

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only some expected minor age crackles in areas and to the back of the furled leaf.
