Description

each with a globular body supported on a splayed foot and rising to a tall waisted neck, cast and parcel-gilt in three registers divided by raised borders, the foot with sprays of bamboo, the bulging centre with blossoming prunus under the moon, and the neck with pine trees, a frieze of lingzhi at the rim, the recessed base inscribed in relief with the six-character gilt mark, the bronze patinated to a deep reddish-brown colour with traces of black lacquer

Condition

Both vase are in good overall condition with only expected surface wear, light pitting and rubbing to the gilding. There is a 6mm chip to the footring of one vase.
