Description

the glass of greyish-brown and toffee colour, the terminal in the form of a dragon head with bulging eyes, flaring nostrils and curved horns, the shaft carved in openwork with a sinuous chilong confronting the dragon and incised with a branch of leafy bamboo extending on the underside, the reverse with a tab for attachment wheel-cut with the four-character reign mark

Condition

The hook is in overall good condition with the exception of a few nicks along the edges of the shaft and the edges of the small chilong, inluding one on its nose. There is a 4 mm bruise to its tail and sections of the edges have been slightly polished down (max. 6 mm to its tail). The actual colour is quite close to the catalogue illustration.
