Description

of baluster form, the rounded sides gently rising to a slightly waisted neck and a lipped mouth rim, brilliantly painted around the body with a pair of mandarin ducks swimming on a lotus pond above two conch-shells, next to a couple of white egrets looking at a pair of silver fish swimming in the transparent turquoise waters, all amidst towering lotus blooms and their leaves interspersed with sprays of nandinia berries, between a border of upright lappets at the foot and a yellow-ground frieze of pendent ruyi and key-fret collaring the rim, the recessed base inscribed with the six-character reign mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only a few light scratches to the enamelling and a couple minute pinholes.
