Description

the cylindrical body rising from a short splayed foot to a slightly waisted neck and an everted rim, finely painted around the exterior with a bird perched on a branch of blossoming prunus below a hovering butterfly, beside sprays of leafy bamboo and clusters of pine needles issuing from a large rock formation, all below a band of iron-red ruyi and a green fillet encircling the neck, the glazed recessed base with a double circle in underglaze blue

Condition

There is a 12 cm horizontal body line beneath the glaze at the shoulder, expected minor potting imperfections, but overall the vase is in quite good condition.
