the deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, the interior brightly painted in shaded tones of cobalt with a ferocious en face dragon amidst clouds within a double-lines border repeated at the rim, the exterior with four medallions of dragons writhing amidst clouds in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', interspersed with 'The Eight Treasures', the base inscribed with the eight-character mark Wanli nian zhi yu tang jia qi' (Fine vessel for the Jade Hall, made during the Wanli reign) within double circles

Condition

The overall condition is very good. There are a few pin-prick air bubbles and minor glaze flaws around the foot rim.
