Description

of tall baluster shape tapering to the base with stepped foot, carved with three fish swimming amongst aquatic plants, opposite a crab on a leafy frond, divided by a raised horizontal fillet from floret and lozenge motifs around the base, and a further fillet at the shoulders covered overall in a transparent glaze, the rounded shoulders incised with cresting waves and applied with a pair of stylised animal mask handles suspending faux rings, all beneath a lipped mouthrim

Condition

The overall condition is excellent, with the exception of a couple of short original body lines to the handles and some minor surface scratches.
