Description

the deep bowl with rounded sides supported on four ruyi-shaped feet, set with a pair of dragon-formed handles, their outstretched wings resting on the lipped mouthrim and their bodies suspending loose ring handles, crisply moulded around the body with a swaying tasseled garland of double fish and stone chimes forming the pun for auspicious happiness Jiqing youyu, flanked by lotus flowers enclosing a xi symbol, applied all over with a rich white glaze, the slightly recessed base encircled by a band of leiwen and incised with the six-character seal mark

Condition

There is a minor firing crack at the joint of one handle to the body, with a couple of dirty pin-prick air bubbles. Otherwise the bowl is in very good condition.
