Saxe's sculptures are much like a puzzle: pieces fitting together and coming apart. None of the elements are fixed in place, yet they all come together to support their own internal structures. The forms can be shifted about by the viewer and can be arranged in any number of ways, creating a constant state of flux and reflecting on the universal nature of change.
