Condition
Unexamined out of the frame and under glass. There is some very slight undulation in the sheet. The work appears to have had some old localised water damage along the upper and right edges, leaving a faint stain parallel to the upper edge, and tiny spots of the paint surface in this area have detached and become stuck to the glass, notably in the upper tree trunks, and in the facade of the building along the right edge.
Held in a rococo-style gilt frame without a mount, under glass.
The colours are overall accurate in the catalogue illustration, however the tones are somewhat richer in the original.
