Condition
The board has been laid on a backing board, and is flat and even. There is a minor area of fine paint shrinkage in the red canopy. Ultraviolet light reveals some fluorescence which appears to be the varnish and not retouching. Overall this work is in good original condition, and its appearance could be further enhanced with a surface clean.
Held in a decorative gilt frame, with reeded ornaments.
Some of the colours, notably the greens, are richer in reality than in the catalogue illustration.
