Condition

The panel is flat and even. Ultraviolet light reveals some scattered spots and minor strokes of retouching, notably in the central tree and in the left tree near the left edge, some spots in the grass in the middle-ground to the left, a few in the house to the right, and a couple in the upper left of the sky. There are some localised, faint fine lines of paint shrinkage. Overall this work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gilt frame. The colours are somewhat less red overall in reality than in the catalogue illustration.
