Condition
The canvas has been relined. Under ultraviolet light a few minor scattered spots of retouching are visible, notably one in the lower part of Ida's left cheek, and another in her collar to the right. Apart from a thin 2cm surface scratch below and to the right of her neck (just visible in the catalogue illustration), overall this work is in good condition and is ready to hang.
Held in a decorative, modern gilt carved wood frame.
