Condition
STRUCTURE
Original canvas. There are a few minor signs of craquelure to the figure, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in very good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals an opaque varnish. There appear to be minor retouchings along the lower edge, to the centre of the left-hand edge and in the upper right corner. There are also one or two minor infillings to the sitter; these have been well-executed.
FRAME
Held in a gilt wood frame.
